At present, most of the magnetizing machines and coils are separated, that is to say, one magnetizing machine can be equipped with multiple magnetizing coils. Can the same magnetizing machine be used for multi pole motor rotor magnetization? The answer is yes, the difference is whether it can be magnetized and saturated.

The figure below shows a multipole magnet charging head of our company (generally one-to-one correspondence, i.e. one magnet specification corresponds to one charging head).

If the same magnetizing machine, the same brand of rotor, the only difference is that a rotor is charged with the north and South Pole, a rotor is charged with the 16 pole, then a large part of the rotor charged with the north and South Pole may be magnetized saturated, but the rotor charged with the 16 pole may be magnetized unsaturated. Why? Because the force of the magnetizing head of the 16 pole magnetizing coil acting on the rotor is much smaller than that of the north and South Pole magnetizing coil, which leads to the reason of the unsaturated magnetization.
